EK-Quantum Velocity Direct Die D-RGB – AMD Ryzen Special Edition?is explicitly engineered for the AMD AM5 socket and delidded Ryzen? 7000 CPUs, including the X3D variants. The product deploys a custom-engineered cooling engine optimized only for AM5 direct die cooling. The cold plate contact surface is designed with protruding sections that perfectly match the CPU chiplets and its I/O die. It requires the removal of the IHS, the process popularly called Delidding.

It comes packaged in a special box with a delid tool and conformal coating to protect the SMDs.

This CPU water block is EK-Matrix7 compliant.
